Sad news passed on to us by Mr. Derek Sheinwald.
Unfortunately I have to report the passing of Eddie Bullen, a sergeant in the Troop with whom I served 1952-1954. I received this email from his daughter Patricia from Australia.
Derek hello. It is with great sadness that I let you know that Dad (Eddie Bullen) passed away peacefully on 12 December 2024. 5 days after his 93rd birthday. Since you are the only person from his Troop days I am in contact with, I wonder if you would like to write a short message for us to read at his funeral on Thursday 19th December? The family absolutely loved your memoir and dads inclusion. I am sure they would all be heartened to hear from you again.
